These pictures are following the cleaning and after replacing the vacuum tubes lines, alternator, and oil change. This is also the beginning of the cleaning of the rust and replacing of the thermostat housing. The Toyota had numerous power lines that were cut and had to be diagnosed to determine what systems weren't receiving power. Also the speedometer had been taken for another Land Cruiser, because theirs had failed. When I received this cruiser, the gauges weren't installed so that was another project to get it running. The back of the bed was covered in rust and was wire brushed to remove as much as possible. The front bumper had been removed and was also wire brushed and painted, to prevent further rust also. One last problem was the previous owner had no key for the Vehicle, so the locks had to be removed for one to be made.
